How did Rita show empathy when Coral was late?

First of all he was waiting for her with a smile. Unlike what she had said in previous videos where Rita mentioned that she had been angry because Coral did not give so much importance to her Bible course, this time Rita was not upset since it could even be observed that she had bought her some of have breakfast.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

All of us who have had the privilege of conducting a Bible course know that this type of thing happens, that the student is late or that he has not prepared or that he does not come with the best attitude. But that is where one as a preacher of the good news should perhaps transform that negativity into something positive and what better way than by being empathic.

Rita showed empathy with his words by saying "it doesn't matter", with her smile and body posture. Besides that he had prepared that breakfast for Coral. Although it seems that Coral did not notice or realize these things because of the rush she was in, deep down if we realize these things and they are highly valued. What Coral trust in Rita by treating her in this way.

How did Rita show empathy when Coral said she was too stressed to study?

Leaving the study for another occasion. She didn't hold on to the fact that they should be studying but rather paid attention to her student's circumstances and tried to help Coral by giving her advice on how she deals with the days when she has a lot to do.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

And it is that perhaps sometimes we can be confused as teachers and think, that it can help our students more than learning more about the Bible. But in this type of situation the best thing to do is to show personal interest in our student and perhaps leave the study for a next session.

Rita didn't insist or try to put what Coral felt or wanted at the moment in the background. Rather, he put himself in her shoes, left what he had prepared to say and talk to her and worried about how she felt. Rita showed true empathy for Coral's life and situation.

We have to be aware that if we have many problems living with God's righteous standards that help us. People who do not know them have more problems, and being empathic with others is a quality that we must have as servants of God. We know the difficulty of living in this system, and we have to help our neighbors to cope in the best possible way.

How did Rita show empathy when Coral said she wasn't very organized?

Helping her in a practical way, he even went to her room and helped her tidy it up. He also did not criticize her for her disorder or make ugly faces, but on the contrary, he helped her because he was really interested in her.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

And helping people who study the Bible with us in this way is totally valid, Jesus Christ when he was here on earth helped people who followed him in similar ways so that they felt the interest that he had in their well-being.

We noticed Rita got in on the action. He wasn't content with telling Coral to be more organized or that she can. He directly said: "I will help you." These words infer direct action and you can see Rita's empathy and her heartfelt desire to help her. Saying things is very easy, doing it is different, and Rita helped her as we see in the video, tidying her room together.
