Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2021

Trembling before men is what ties a snare, but whoever trusts in Jehovah will be protected (Prov. 29:25).
It will help us to be more courageous in preaching the good news of the Kingdom of God. Why? Because doing so teaches us to trust in Jehovah and to overcome fear of people. Just as muscles are strengthened with exercise, courage is strengthened when we preach from house to house, in public places, informally, and in business. If we preach courageously now, we will be ready to continue to do so even if our work is outlawed (1 Thess. 2: 1, 2). We learn much from the example of a faithful sister who demonstrated extraordinary courage. Nancy Yuen was only about five feet tall, but it wasn't easy to intimidate her. Because she refused to stop preaching the Kingdom, she was imprisoned for about twenty years in China. Officials who questioned her said she was "the most stubborn person" in the country. w19.07 5 pars. 13, 14
According to Hebrews 13: 5, 6, what must we be convinced of, and why is it important?
Let us be convinced that Jehovah loves us and that he will never abandon us. --Read Hebrews 13: 5, 6. Many years ago, The Watchtower noted, "The person who knows God best will trust him the most in times of trial." What a great truth. To endure persecution, we must love Jehovah and trust him with all our hearts, never doubting that he loves us. —Matt. 22: 36-38; James 5:11.
What will help us to perceive Jehovah's love?
Let us read the Bible daily with the goal of drawing closer to Jehovah (James 4: 8). During our reading, let's focus on her cute qualities. Let us perceive his love in what he says and does (Ex. 34: 6). Some may find it hard to believe that God loves them because no one has shown them love. If that's the case, why don't we try to make a daily list of how Jehovah has shown us mercy and kindness? (Ps. 78:38, 39; Rom. 8:32). It is likely that we can write down many things if we meditate on our experiences and what we have read in the Bible. The more we value what Jehovah does, the stronger our friendship with him will be. --Ps. 116: 1, 2.
According to what Psalm 94: 17-19 says, how can sincere prayer help us?
Let us pray often. Imagine a child whom his father embraces affectionately. He feels so secure that he tells his father everything that has happened to him during the day, both the good and the bad. We will have that same relationship with Jehovah if we sincerely pray to him every day. --Read Psalm 94: 17-19. Let us pour out our hearts “just like water” and tell our loving Father our fears and concerns (Lam. 2:19). The result will be that we will feel what the Bible calls "the peace of God that surpasses all thought" (Philippians 4: 6, 7). The more we pray in this way to Jehovah, the closer we will be to him. —Rom. 8:38, 39.
