APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: Aug 9-15, 2021, First Conversation, Lesson .1 assignment prepared.

First Conversation (3 min.): Use the conversation ideas and overcome a common objection in your territory (th lec. 1).

PUBLISHER: Hello Maria, how are you? Today I passed by you when you were making a purchase I called you but you did not listen to me I was worried is something wrong with you?

HOUSEHOLDER: Hello Sofia, excuse me if I didn't see you. It is that this morning I received a news that has moved me a lot. I found out that an uncle whom I love very much has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and that makes my head be elsewhere.

PUBLISHER: It saddens me to hear that news, Maria, I imagined you had some worrying situation. And believe me that if I had in my hands to help you with something I would gladly do it

HOUSEKEEPER: Thank you, Sofia, I appreciate your words, but it really hurts me a lot that my uncle goes through this situation, being such a good man, so affectionate, so concerned about the family and that something like this has to happen to him, it hurts me a lot. I have asked God to help me understand why this happens but I don't really understand.

PUBLISHER: I understand you Maria and I think that if I were in your place I would also think that way at some point but believe me You know that I read the Bible and have come to understand that these things do not come from God, I want to share with you a bit of the Bible that brings a little encouragement a little peace to your situation which is very painful. Please allow me to share James 1:13.

HOUSEHOLDER: James 1:13: Don't let anyone say during a test: "God is testing me." Because, with bad things, no one can prove God and he does not prove anyone.

PUBLISHER: I repeat the last part of this verse: "no one can test God nor does he test anyone" Therefore, María, God is not the cause of what happens to your uncle, it is imperfection, sin, things that very soon God will end and I would like to share a little more of the beautiful promises that God gives for you, for your uncle, for me and for so many suffering people in the world. Do you think we could get a chance to talk a little more a little more next time?

HOUSEHOLDER: I would love Sofia. At this time what I need most are words of encouragement and without a doubt God can give them to me.

PUBLISHER: I want to share with you Sofía what God has taught me and we will try to understand why we suffer for the next time. If you allow me, I want to call you again tomorrow to see how your uncle is doing. For now I want you to rest a treat. See you tomorrow.
