Revisit (4 min.): Use the ideas for discussion. Give the person an invitation to the meetings and present the video How are our meetings ?, but do not put it (th lec. 3).
PUBLISHER: Good evening Maria, this is Sofia. Yesterday I called you in the evening and I arranged to call you again today to share a little more about the Bible.
HOUSEHOLDER: Yes, good evening Sofia. I added your number yesterday when you called me then I recognized her. Thanks for calling I liked the short conversation we had.
PUBLISHER: Me too, Maria. And I wanted to take a few minutes to answer the question that we left pending was: Why do we suffer? Yesterday we spoke that God does not test anyone with bad things. But questions arose like Why do these bad things happen?
HOUSEHOLDER: Yes, Sofia, that's what I thought. If God does not cause bad things, because then we suffer so much seeing diseases, crime, natural disasters.
PUBLISHER: That's Maria. Again I want to share a text from the Bible that will help us answer this question of Why do we suffer? And the text is found in the first letter of John chapter 5:19. I made a screenshot of this verse and I will pass it on to you so that if possible you can read it aloud. Do you think?
HOUSEHOLDER: With pleasure. He says. Sofia, after reading this, do you mean that the one who directs or the one who commands the one who does things in the world is not God?
PUBLISHER: As I said yesterday it is Maria, you have good questions and I congratulate you. If you read the word evil, who do you think it is referring to?
HOUSEHOLDER: I think it refers to the one we know as the devil.
PUBLISHER: That is the correct answer refers to the Devil. He has an evil mind and that is the reason why today we see so many things that scare us either on the news or maybe in a personal way.
HOUSEKEEPER: Now I am understanding some things with this brief conversation that we have had.
PUBLISHER: And we can certainly learn more. I want to send you an invitation to our meetings in a message. Did I hear that you like to go to religious services?
HOUSEHOLDER: Yes. When I have time I do.
PUBLISHER: That shows that you are a person who cares about the things of God and I congratulate you. I want to send you the Link where you can see a video that consists of our meetings so that you can see what we do in it and at the moment you want we can gladly invite you to be in one of them.
HOUSEHOLDER: Sure Send it to me and I will review it.
PUBLISHER: And Maria, it's okay if we leave another question pending to continue our conversation at another time. The question could be: How does God feel when he sees us suffer?
HOUSEHOLDER: Claro SofĂa. Thank you very much, I hope you will call me again if possible tomorrow as this time would be fine. I am interested in knowing what God feels to see us suffer with so many bad things that happen to us.
