Whichever topic we choose, let's think about the people we'll talk to. Imagine how beneficial it will be for them to learn what the Bible really teaches. When talking to them, it's important to listen to them and respect their opinion. In this way, we will understand them better and they will be more likely to listen to us. Before a person decides to study the Bible, we may have to spend time and effort reviewing it several times. Why? First, because he might not be at home when we get back or he might not see us. In addition, it may take several visits for you to feel comfortable with us and accept the Bible course. Remember that a plant is more likely to grow if we water it often. In the same way, A person's love for Jehovah and Christ is more likely to grow if we talk to him often about God's Word. w19.07 29: 1, 7-8
Why do we say that all evangelizers help to find sincere people?
All Christian evangelists help to find sincere people. Our work can be compared to searching for a lost child. In what sense? Let's see a real case. To search for a lost three-year-old boy, about five hundred people collaborated. Finally, about twenty hours after the boy was lost, a volunteer found him in a cornfield. But he declined to take credit for locating him, but said, "We found him thanks to the efforts of hundreds of people."
Many feel lost like that child. They have no hope, but they want help (Ephesians 2:12). More than eight million Witnesses are looking for these people. We may not personally meet anyone who wants to study the Bible, but other publishers who preach in the same territory do. When a brother meets someone who becomes a disciple of Christ, we all have reason to rejoice.
Even if we do not conduct a Bible course, in what other ways can we help make disciples?
Even though we're not teaching a Bible course right now, we can contribute to making disciples in other ways. For example, when someone new comes to the Kingdom Hall, we can welcome them back and make them feel good. In this way, we help him convince himself that love identifies us as true Christians (John 13:34, 35). On the other hand, the answers we give in meetings, however brief, can teach you to express your convictions with sincerity and respect. We can also go out preaching with a new publisher and help him use the Bible to reason with people. In doing so, we teach you to copy Christ's example (Luke 10:25-28).
Do we need exceptional disciple-making skills? Give an example.
We should not think that we need exceptional skills to teach someone to be a disciple of Jesus. The example of Faustina, who lives in Bolivia, helps us understand why. When he met Jehovah's Witnesses, he could not read, but he learned a little. Now she is baptized and loves to teach people the truth. He normally teaches five Bible courses a week. Although Faustina cannot read as well as most of her students, she helped six people make the decision to be baptized (Luke 10:21).
Even though we are very busy, what blessings can we receive by participating in the disciple-making work?
Many Christians have important responsibilities to fulfill and are therefore very busy. Even so, they take time to teach Bible courses, a work that brings them great happiness. Let's look at Melanie's example. She was a single mother with an eight year old daughter. In addition, she had a full-time job and helped care for her father, who had cancer. She lived in a remote town in Alaska, where she was the only Witness. He repeatedly asked God to give him the strength to go out and preach despite the cold, as he wanted to find someone to teach what the Bible says. Finally, he found Sarah, who was thrilled to see that God has a name. After some time, this woman accepted a Bible course. Melanie explains: “On Friday afternoons I was exhausted. But my daughter and I were going to give her Bible lessons, and that did us a lot of good. We loved looking for information to answer Sara's questions, and we were delighted to see her become a friend of Jehovah. " Sara bravely faced opposition, left her church and was baptized.
