There are different reasons why they feel lonely, for example: some find it difficult to adjust to their new congregation. Others come from close-knit families and feel a great emptiness when they move away. Also, there are those who have lost a loved one a loved one and greatly miss their company. And some Christians who are new to the truth feel lonely due to rejection or opposition from non-Witness family members and former friends.

JEHOVAH IS PENDING ON HOW WE FEEL

Jehovah sent an angel to Elijah to confirm that he was not alone. (See paragraph 3).

3. How did Jehovah show that he was watching over Elijah?

The prophet Elijah lived in a difficult time, where the enemies of God cruelly persecuted the faithful Israelites and many other prophets had already been killed, because of this he fled for his life to the desert where he felt alone and thought he was the only one The prophet was left, but Jehovah was watching out for Elijah so he comforted and calmed him by sending an angel, who assured him and confirmed that he was not alone and that there were still 7,000 faithful Israelites who had not worshiped Baal.

4. How does Mark 10:29, 30 show that Jehovah cares for those who have lost the support of family or friends?

WHAT CAN WE DO IF WE FEEL ALONE?

5. Why is it good for us to think about how Jehovah is helping us?

Because thinking, seeing and feeling how Jehovah helps us allows us to balance ourselves in the face of difficulties and convinces us that we are not really alone. As Psalm 55:22 says, "Jehovah will always sustain us and will never allow the righteous to fall."

In these texts we are reminded that trials and difficulties are not unique to someone, but rather, many servants of God have endured serious situations for a long time, but their absolute trust in Jehovah allows them to preserve. So, if we feel alone, this should encourage us because it makes us see that, in Jehovah's people, no one has the perfect circumstances, rather, we are all striving to serve him to the best of our ability.

7. How does prayer help you?

Prayer is a source of great strength to combat loneliness because it is an open line with our Friend and Father Jehovah where there are no limits or borders, so if we open our hearts to Him and tell Him how we feel, we will see how He protects us. , cares for and comforts us lovingly.

Listening to recordings of the Bible and publications can help us not feel so alone. (See paragraph 8.) *

8. How does reading and meditating on God's Word help you?

Reading and meditating on the Bible shows us that Jehovah really cares about us. In it we find stories and encouraging texts that remind us that Jehovah loves us, that he gives us his spirit to renew our strength and thus not allow loneliness to sink us. Reflecting on this allows us to feel comforted and relieved by all that He does for us.

9. How does going to meetings benefit you?

Attendance at meetings and participation in it is a source of encouragement to combat loneliness because it makes us see that we have a place in the congregation. In addition, knowing that we have the support, love and "a good word" of our brothers lightens the burden of loneliness that we have.

10. Why is it important that we become friends with faithful brothers?

Because your good example and loyalty can help us cope with loneliness and stay faithful to Jehovah. An example of this kind of friendship is the one that Jonathan and David had, these men despite having a great difference in age leaned on each other to serve Jehovah in the midst of serious difficulties, which shows us that age or culture should not be an impediment happen to be "good friends." So let's not limit ourselves and take the initiative to have good friendships in Jehovah's people.

11. What do you have to do to have good friends?

We have to do what a shy little sister named Ratna did, she says, "she had to accept the fact that she needed the help and support of her spiritual family." So, we must understand that friendships do not occur automatically, rather, we must cultivate them, that is why we must take the initiative and express our feelings openly and frankly to a trusted brother so that he can give us the encouragement and support that need.

12. How does preaching help us to make good friends?

Preaching helps us make good friends because we are in a spiritual environment with fellow Christians willing to participate in theocratic activities and support one another. As Proverbs 17:17 says "brothers are true friends who support and help us in times of distress."

LET OTHERS FEEL PART OF OUR FAMILY

13. What responsibility do we all have?

We have a responsibility to contribute to a peaceful and loving atmosphere in the congregation. So our words and actions should make a difference and show that we want others to feel like they are part of our great spiritual family. So no one will feel alone.

14. How can we make friends with those who are new to the congregation?

To begin with, we can welcome them warmly, be kind, and show sincere interest in them. In addition, we must be prudent and careful when asking them questions because we do not want to make them uncomfortable or think that we are intruding on their life, rather, we want them to perceive that we have a genuine interest in them and that we want to be their friends.

15. How can mature Christians help other brothers in the congregation?

They can do this by strengthening the spirituality of others. For example, the paragraph mentions the positive effect of showing sincere and loving concern for others. In Melissa's case, "she is grateful that there were siblings willing to act like parents, and that whenever she needed to talk, there was someone to listen to her." In Mauricio's case, he comments that "one of the things that helped him the most was the personal interest of the elderly, who spoke with him, accompanied him to preach and even played sports with him." This shows us that mature Christians are a source of spiritual strength for others.

Is there anyone in the congregation who would appreciate our offering our love and companionship? (See paragraphs 16-19). *

16, 17. In what practical ways could we help some brothers?

For example, the paragraph mentions one of those practical aids: a missionary says that "a single act of kindness that a married couple showed him, after he suffered an accident, was enough to make him feel better." Also Sister Carol, who is the only Witness in her family, says that the assemblies are difficult occasions for her as she sees that most of the brothers are with their families. But she is alone. So if we know a brother who has a similar situation, we can invite him to be with our family, so we are providing help in a practical way.

18. How can we show hospitality according to 2 Corinthians 6: 11-13?

As these texts say "we can do it by not being able to limit our affection for our brothers, but to open our brothers, but rather to open our hearts wide to them." Therefore, a show of hospitality is to include different brothers in our social activities.

19. At what times is it very important for us to be close to some brothers?

For example, some of our siblings who have non-witness relatives can find it difficult on holidays. for others, there are certain dates, such as the death of a loved one, that are very painful. If on these occasions we spend with them and dedicate our time to them, they will feel supported and will see that we sincerely care for them.

20. How can Jesus' words in Matthew 12: 48-50 help us when we feel alone?

Jesus recognized that his true family are those who do the will of his Father. So we must remember that if we feel lonely, Jehovah knows it, and so he often uses our godbrothers to give us the company, friendship and support we need.

WHAT WOULD YOU ANSWER?

Why do we know that Jehovah is watching how we feel?

For example, we saw the case of Elijah, a prophet who lived in a time when Jehovah's faithful servants were persecuted and killed. When this prophet fled for his life and thought he was the only one left, Jehovah comforted him through an angel, who confirmed that he was not alone and that there were still many faithful Israelites. This example shows us that Jehovah cares deeply about the welfare of all his servants and promises that he will always give us his support and help.

What can we do if we feel alone?

We have learned that we can do several things:

1) We should think about how Jehovah is helping us.

2) Also, we should reflect on how Jehovah is helping other brothers who feel alone.

3) We must maintain a good spiritual routine.

4) We must become friends with faithful brothers.

What can we do so that the brothers feel part of the congregation?

We have learned that we must: Take the initiative and offer our friendship. We must give practical help. We should spend time together and especially include our lonely siblings.
