Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2021

Stop conforming to this system of things; rather, transform yourself by remaking your mind (Rom. 12: 2).
These changes are not made overnight or automatically. We may have to do our best for several years (2 Pet. 1: 5). We have to do everything possible to change who we are on the inside. The first thing we must do is pray. We should ask the same as the writer of the psalm who said: "Create in me even a pure heart, O God, and put in me a new spirit, one that is constant" (Ps. 51:10). We must recognize that we have a need to change the force that drives our minds and ask Jehovah for help. Second, it is very important to meditate. Every day, we need to read the Bible carefully and take time to ponder or reflect on what ideas and opinions we should change (Ps. 119: 59; Heb. 4:12; James 1:25). Let's identify the thoughts that have been influenced by the world's philosophies. We have to honestly acknowledge our weaknesses and strive to overcome them. w19.06 8 par. 1; 10 par. 10; 12 paras. 11, 12
How does Satan try to change our thinking?
Let us remember that Satan is determined to change our way of thinking. Use all kinds of reasoning to counteract the influence of the truth of God's Word.
Satan keeps asking the same kind of question that he asked Eve in the garden of Eden: "Is it really the case that God has said that ...?" (Gen. 3: 1). In the world he controls, we are often asked questions that could sow doubts in us, like these: “Is it true that God does not approve of same-sex marriage? Is it true that God does not allow you to celebrate Christmas and birthdays? Is it true that your God wants you to refuse blood transfusions? Is it true that a God of love forbids them to associate with their expelled loved ones?
a) What do we have to do when someone asks us questions with the intention of sowing doubts in our minds? b) According to Colossians 2: 6, 7, what will be the results if we act like this?
We must be convinced of what we believe. Questions left unanswered in our minds can turn into big doubts that end up distorting our thinking and ruining our faith. So what do we have to do? God's Word tells us to transform our minds so that we can see for ourselves what is “the good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Rom. 12: 2). Studying regularly will help us be sure that what we have learned in the Bible is the truth. Furthermore, we will be fully convinced that Jehovah's standards are correct. As a result, we will be like a tree with strong roots and we will be well rooted, “stabilized in the faith” (read Colossians 2: 6, 7).
What will help us counteract the toxic effects of Satan's world?
No one can stabilize us in faith; we must do it. Therefore, let us continue to renew the force that drives our mind. Let us continually pray to Jehovah and ask him to give us his spirit. Let us meditate deeply, always examining our way of thinking and our motives. Let's find good friends; Let's surround ourselves with people who help us transform our way of thinking. By doing all of this, we will counteract the toxic effects of Satan's world and tear down "reasonings and every lofty thing that rises up against the knowledge of God" (2 Cor. 10: 5).
