Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2021

This means eternal life, their gaining knowledge of you, the only true God, and the one you sent, Jesus Christ (John 17: 3).
Jesus told us to go and make "disciples of people of all nations" (Matt. 28:19). And, in addition to teaching a student what Jesus asks of his disciples, we need to help him know how to be a true Christian. We must be by his side as he struggles to put biblical principles into practice. Some students manage to change their thinking and habits in a few months, while others need more time. What happened to a missionary in Peru highlights the benefits of being patient. He recounted: “A Bible student named Raúl had already studied two books. But he still had serious problems in his life. His marriage was a disaster, his language was dirty, and his children had a hard time respecting him. But since he came to meetings regularly, I continued to visit him and his family. More than three years after meeting him, he met the requirements to be baptized. " w19.07 15 par. 3; 19 paras. 15-17
What is the first step in making disciples?
The first step is to seek out those who want to know Jehovah (Matt. 10:11). We show that we are true Jehovah's Witnesses by talking to everyone we meet. And we show that we are authentic Christians if we obey Jesus' command to preach.
What will help us to be successful in preaching?
Some people are eager to learn the truths of the Bible. On the other hand, others seem indifferent at first, and we may have to pique their interest. To be successful in preaching, we need to know well what we are going to say. Let's pick topics that are likely to catch people's attention and think about how to present them.
a) How could we start a conversation? b) Why do you think it is important that we listen and show respect?
For example, we could say: “I would like to know your opinion on the following topic. Today we are faced with many problems everywhere. Do you think a world government is needed to solve them? Later, we could read and comment on Daniel 2:44. Or perhaps we could say, “I would like to ask you a question. What do you think is the key to having well-educated children? So, we could look at Deuteronomy 6: 6, 7. Whatever topic we choose, let's think about the people we are going to talk to. Imagine how it will benefit them to learn what the Bible really teaches. When we speak with them, it is important that we listen to them and respect their opinion. In this way, we will understand them better and they will be more likely to listen to us.
Why shouldn't we get tired of making return visits?
Before a person decides to study the Bible, we may have to take the time and effort to revisit it several times. Why? First of all, because he may not be at home when we return or he may not be able to attend us. Also, it may take several visits for you to feel comfortable with us and accept the Bible course. Remember that a plant is more likely to grow if we water it often. In the same way, a person's love for Jehovah and Christ is more likely to grow if we speak with them frequently about God's Word.
