Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2022

They have overcome the Evil One (1 John 2:14).
The more temptations we resist, the easier it will be for us to do the right thing. Let's not forget that Satan is behind this world's crooked judgment on sex. So when we refuse to think like the people of this world, we defeat the Evil One. We know that Jehovah has the right to say what is sin. And we do our best to avoid them. But when we sin, we confess it in prayer (1 John 1: 9). And if it is a serious sin, we seek the help of the elders, as Jehovah has appointed them to take care of us (James 5: 14-16). Now, we shouldn't allow feelings of guilt over past mistakes to overwhelm us. Why not? Because our loving Father gave the sacrifice of his Son so that our sins can be forgiven. When Jehovah says that he will forgive repentant sinners, keeps his word. So we can serve Him with a clear conscience (1 John 2: 1, 2, 12; 3:19, 20). w20.07 22-23 pars. 9, 10
What is one way to help the brothers to follow in the truth?
We can help the brothers to follow in the truth by being compassionate (1 John 3:10, 11, 16-18). We must love each other through thick and thin. For example, do we know a sibling who has lost a loved one and needs comfort or some kind of help? Have we heard that due to a natural disaster, brothers need help to rebuild their Kingdom Halls or their homes? We will demonstrate true love and compassion for our brothers above all with actions, not just with words.
What should we do, according to 1 John 4: 7, 8?
When we show love to one another, we imitate our loving heavenly Father (read 1 John 4: 7, 8). One important way to show love is by forgiving others. For example, if someone hurts us, love will lead us to forgive him and forget what he did (Col. 3:13). Let's see what happened to a brother named Aldo. He was very offended when he heard a brother whom he respected make a hurtful comment about people of his culture. Aldo says: "I asked Jehovah again and again to help me not to see this brother with a bad eye." But he did something else: he invited him out to preach. Then he explained how he felt. He says: “When he understood how his hurtful comment made me feel, he apologized. I could tell from his tone of voice that he was truly sorry. We made up and forgot what happened. "
What should we solve?
The apostle John loved his brothers very much and was interested in their spiritual well-being. That sentiment is clearly reflected in the advice he gave in the three inspirational letters he wrote. How encouraging us to know that the men and women who will go to heaven to rule with Christ have the same kind of feelings that John had (1 John 2:27).
Let's take the tips we've discussed seriously. Resolve to walk in the truth and obey Jehovah in all that we do. Let's study his Word and trust it. Let's strengthen our faith in Jesus. Let us reject human ideas and what apostates say. Let's fight the temptation to lead a double life and give in to sin. Let us be guided by Jehovah's high moral standards. And let us help our brothers to stay strong by forgiving those who offend us and helping those in need. So no matter what battles we have to fight, we will keep walking in the truth.
