APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: February 7-13, 2022. Revisit lesson. 20 ,assignment ready.

Revisit (4 mins): Use the ideas to talk. Then offer the Enjoy Life handout and briefly discuss the section “Getting the Most Out of Every Lesson” (th lec. 20).

PUBLISHER: Good morning Juan. How do you feel?

HOUSEWIFE: Good morning Alberto. Good how are you?

PUBLISHER: Good. Looking forward to continuing to talk with you. We leave an interesting and very useful topic for our days.

HOUSEWIFE: The truth is that yes. You were going to tell me how God helps us cope with current problems.

PUBLISHER: That's right Juan. And this is, because of what we saw the other day… because God cares about each one of us to the point that he knows how many hairs we have…

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, it was very interesting to read that text…

PUBLISHER: Well, notice that God, apart from knowing us so well... this is what he wants for us... we are going to read it in Jeremiah 29:11... would you like to read it this time?

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, of course, he says… “Because I know very well what I have in mind for you,” Jehovah affirms. I want them to have peace, not calamity. I want to give them a future and hope.”

PUBLISHER: What does Jehovah, that is, God, tell us what he wants for us?

HOUSEWIFE: The text says that he wants us to have peace and not calamities.

PUBLISHER: Very good. After reading this…do you think that God wants us to have problems?

HOUSEWIFE: No, quite the contrary. He wants us to be happy and not be suffering from everything we are going through.

PUBLISHER: Very good Juan. This is what he wants for us, and how will he do it? What does he want to give us so that we have this peace?

HOUSEWIFE: Well, he says he wants to give us a future and hope. Of course, hope is very important today...

PUBLISHER: It's true Juan, hope that something better will come... and what is this? Well, as you have rightly said, a future... but not just any future, but a much better one than anyone who does not read the Bible imagines...

HOUSEWIFE: And why is that Alberto?

PUBLISHER: Can you imagine, Juan, a future where there is no more death or disease? Where do our loved ones rise from the dead?

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, you're right... it's hard to imagine... What I imagine is a future without so many problems, without viruses or without wars like we are now...

PUBLISHER: Sure, I understand you perfectly. That is why it is very important to study the Bible, because it guides us... it makes us see this hope that God gives us real... it makes us have this hope very much alive... but not only that, you know what else?

HOUSEWIFE: The one Alberto? What you have said is already a lot...

PUBLISHER: Well, look… the other day we said very lightly that God not only helps us by giving us hope that a better Kingdom will come… but He also does it today with many people with blessings that thousands of them see…

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, it's true… I suppose the Bible will give us advice to live better today?

PUBLISHER: He gives us very good advice... it's like a lighthouse that guides our path and tells us which way to walk so as not to trip over any stone or problem...

HOUSEWIFE: But for this to be possible… you have to study the Bible…

PUBLISHER: Of course, the Bible cannot be our beacon if we do not do our part and approach it and let ourselves be guided...

HOUSEWIFE: I don't know Alberto, I don't know if it would be right for me to be studying the Bible...

PUBLISHER: I understand that they can be very profound changes...

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, and my family and everything…

PUBLISHER: I know, that's why I have here with me a very illustrative booklet called "Enjoy Life Forever", totally based on the Bible that allows us to study it in a simple, practical way and dedicating only a little time each week…

HOUSEWIFE: Oh look how good, it looks very good...

PUBLISHER: This one is for you, I brought it to you because I would like us to consider it in the next conversations, maybe also with your family if you want...

HOUSEWIFE: Okay, little moments like this, right Alberto?

PUBLISHER: Yes, I know you have family responsibilities and work and everything… so this booklet allows us to study the Bible without having to put in a lot of effort but what we can each day…

HOUSEWIFE: Okay, so if I keep it and read it...

PUBLISHER: Very good Juan. We can consider it together so we can get even more out of it... look at what the beginning of the brochure says to get the most out of this learning...

HOUSEWIFE: Each lesson is divided into three parts?

PUBLISHER: That's right. We have a first part with questions and answers and highlighted biblical texts that are key to understanding the ideas. A second part to delve deeper with questions, images and videos that are very explanatory and useful, and then a third part to review what has been learnt.

HOUSEWIFE: How well everything has been restructured, it seems very easy to read and study...

PUBLISHER: It is John. Do you want us to study the first lesson the next day as we have said and see how the Bible guides us in life?

HOUSEWIFE: Great Alberto, I'll take a look at the lesson before we talk...

PUBLISHER: Very good Juan. See you next day.
