Do you know how much garbage is generated around the world? Is awesome. We only mention a few figures. It is estimated that in Latin America and the Caribbean one kilo of garbage is generated per person. Every day, 231 million tons of waste are produced annually and more than half of that is food waste.

In Europe, specifically in Spain, each person generates about 484 kg of garbage per year, each person. Hence, due to this concern, the word recycle began to be used some time ago. But very little is recycled compared to the production of garbage, and that is where one wonders, How much damage are we causing to the environment?

Where are we going to go? And what's more, can the damage that the environment has suffered be repaired? Although it is true that many organizations have tried to raise awareness in each of us to make changes in the way we use and recycle garbage. However, it is not enough. 

And it's not just humans who are worried about that. Jehovah, the owner of this planet, is the most concerned yet, although, of course, he has the practical and very quick solution. If we see, for example, the book of Isaiah 35:1,2 what he already has ready to do. 

LET'S READ ISAIAH 35:1,2.

The desert and the parched land will be filled with joy, and the desert plain will be happy and bloom like the crocus. 2 Without fail it will flourish; He will be very happy and will shout with joy. She will be given the glory of Lebanon, the splendor of Carmeloe and Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.

Although it is true that these words had to do with a prophecy of restoration of God's people, in their time this also has a real application on our planet. And here we talk about deserts. They are places where it rains very little. Its temperature can reach up to 52 or 54 degrees Celsius, and nowadays much more than that, that is, between 125 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit.

However, at night the temperature can drop drastically to 4ºC or 40 degrees Fahrenheit. But in this prophecy of Isaiah he speaks that the desert will become a place of joy, will be happy, and will flourish like crocus. It should be noted that the Bible does not offer to end the deserts or disappear them, in fact, they are necessary.

What's more, deserts are known to absorb Co2 more than anything else. Therefore, if they ceased to exist, the earth would be more affected than it is. But Jehovah's promise is that the desert flourishes, that it remains to a certain point and size, but that it continues to bear fruit, that human beings really enjoy those places. But the greatest solution for this to turn out like this is to do what Revelation 11:18 mentions. 

LET'S READ REVELATION 11:18 (THE FINAL PART). 

"And to destroy those who are destroying the Earth."

That is the solution to repair the damage that the environment has suffered. Selfish human beings who only think about themselves, who pollute the environment, who do not care about what will happen later, including their children. How different is Jehovah who has placed deserts on each continent. 

Every continent on the planet has deserts, because as we said, they are necessary to absorb natural environmental pollution. Without a doubt, in the new laws that will be opened in the new world, we will have help from Jehovah so that the waste that human beings produce is recycled for the benefit of this planet and for the happiness of its inhabitants.
