Today we are going to see the meaning of Psalm 46:10, for this, what do you think, dear brothers, if we go to the Bible to read the base text for today.

LET'S READ PSALM 46:10.

“Surrender and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.”

As we could see, God tells everyone to worship him and recognize his right to rule the Earth. No one can deny his power and authority, and everyone who wants to live forever has to recognize that fact.

Some Bibles translate the first part of this phrase as "Stand still in silence." For this reason, many people have the mistaken idea that this verse commands respect and silence in church. However, the Hebrew phrase translated “Yield and know that I am God” is actually advice that Jehovah himself gives to people of all nations.

He tells them to stop opposing him and recognize that he is the only one worthy of worship. How does the text of Revelation 4:11 show that we are going to read, if you found it, accompany me with the reading, please, it says like this.

“Jehovah our God, you deserve to receive glory, honor and power, because you created all things, and by your will* they came into being and were created.”

As we saw, dear brothers, Jehovah is the only one who deserves our worship. And as for Jehovah being exalted among the nations, he will be exalted in the earth. In the past, Jehovah was exalted when he used his great power to protect his people as mentioned in Exodus 15: 1-3, please read it as follows… ..

LET'S READ EXODUS 15:1-3.

On that occasion, Moses and the Israelites sang this song to Jehovah: “I will sing to Jehovah because he has triumphed with great glory. He threw his horse and rider into the sea.2 Jah is my strength and my power, for he has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him. He is the God of my father, and I will exalt him. 3 Jehovah is a mighty warrior. Jehovah is his name.

Tomorrow, when everyone on earth submits to his authority and worships him, God will be magnified even more, as mentioned in the biblical account of Psalm 86:9 to 10, since part of these verses mentions that all the nations that Jehovah formed they will come and bow before him and give glory to his name

And in Isaiah 2:11 it says that the eyes of the proud or haughty person will be lowered and the arrogance of these men will be humbled, since as mentioned at the end of verse 11, only Jehovah will be exalted when that day comes. And now? Could it be that Jehovah continues to help his people? Yes, in fact, the apostle Paul advised Christians to completely trust God to help them.

Therefore, dear brothers, the ideas of Psalm 46 strengthen our confidence that God can protect us with his great power and help us see him as "Our refuge and Our strength."
