APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, Week of January 20 to 26, 2025, Make disciples (Making disciples: a work of love, Lesson 10, points 3). Prepared Assignment.
Make Disciples (4 mins.) PUBLIC PREACHING. Offer the person a Bible course and show them what our classes are like (lmd lesson 10 point 3).
Publisher: Hello, good afternoon. I'm talking to people here in the park about something that affects us all: the state of the world. Do you believe that one day things will get better?
Assistant: Well, it would be good, but I'm not sure.
Publisher: It's true, it seems difficult to imagine with everything that's happening. But did you know that the Bible predicts impressive change for the future? Look at this text, for example, at Psalm 37:10, 11. …
Assistant: Yes, but how will that happen?
Publisher: That's an excellent question. The Bible has clear answers about how God will bring about these changes. In fact, we offer a free course to understand these topics. For example, we could analyze questions like: Why does God allow suffering? o What will you do to change things? Would you like me to show you how the course works?
Assistant: Yes, how are these studies done?
Publisher: Thank you for your interest in learning more. Let me explain how we do these Bible studies. They are very simple and practical. Basically, we use a guide, like this booklet called Enjoy Life Forever, which is designed to answer important questions about life and the Bible. Would you mind if I show you how it works?
Assistant: Sure, I'm interested in knowing what it's like.
Publisher: Very good. Each choice is divided into short paragraphs. For example, this paragraph explains what God's purpose is for humanity. First, we read the paragraph together. Then, we answer a simple question about what we just read. Look at this example: (Point out the paragraph)
Assistant: That's interesting. And what happens after reading?
Publisher: Then we answer the question that comes at the end of the paragraph. For example, this question says...
Helper: (RESPONDS)
Publisher: Exactly. And then, we reinforced what we learned with a biblical text. For example, Isaiah 45:18 SAYS.
Assistant: And we do this in every session?
Publisher: Yes, that's right. Each lesson has practical topics, such as why there is suffering, how to be happy as a family, or how to get closer to God. You can study at your own pace and in the place where you feel most comfortable. What do you think? Would you like us to arrange a time to get started?
Assistant: I think so. Could we do it here in the park?
Publisher: Of course! Does Saturday afternoon sound like it? I'm sure you'll like to learn more.
