APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: February 24, March 2, 2025, Make Revisits, INFORMAL PREACHING. Lesson 9 point 3. Prepared Assignment.

Make return visits (3 mins.) INFORMAL PREACHING. On a previous visit, the person showed interest in a topic. Offer him a magazine that talks about that topic (lmd lesson 9 point 3).

Setting: During that previous visit, the person showed interest in a topic, and now the publisher brings them a magazine or publication that addresses the topic in greater depth.

Publisher: Hello, [Name]! How have you been? I'm [Name], we met a few days ago when we talked about the topic of hell.

Assistant: Yes, of course I remember. What you explained to me was very interesting.

Publisher: I'm glad you found it useful. Today I brought you this magazine that talks more in depth about the topic. I think it will be very helpful to you to understand it better.

Helper: Thank you. This topic interests me a lot because my uncle recently died, who was very special to me. But honestly, he was not a very well-liked person by others, he had a difficult character, and some people even said that he must be burning in hell. That has left me very heartbroken.

Publisher: I'm very sorry to hear that. It must be very difficult for you. I understand that those words have affected you deeply.

Publisher: The Bible has something very comforting to say about this. In Ecclesiastes 9:10 it says, “For there is no activity, no planning, no knowledge, no wisdom in Sheol, where you are going.” This means that when someone dies, they no longer have a conscience or suffer consequences. The dead are nowhere where they can feel pain or punishment.

Assistant: I didn't know that, it calms me a lot to know that my uncle is not suffering. But why do some religions teach the opposite?

Publisher: It's an important question. Many beliefs come from traditions, not from the Bible. Jehovah is a God of love and would never torture someone. This magazine has more information on the topic, including other biblical texts that support what we just talked about. I think it will help you better understand what the Bible really teaches about death and hell.

Helper: Thank you very much. I hadn't talked to anyone about this because I was afraid they would make fun of me. I thank you very much for listening to me and for bringing me this information.

Publisher: You're welcome, I'm glad I could help you. If you want, we can meet another day to talk more about this topic or any other questions you have. What day seems good to you?

Assistant: Sure, do you think this weekend?

Publisher: Excellent, see you.
