What makes us truly rich? (10 min.)
There are three points that make us truly rich.
This is the first one we are going to analyze.
He who uses his “working hands” to help others know Jehovah becomes truly rich.
Something that makes us truly rich is being workers in the harvest of people, which Jesus referred to in Matthew 9:35-38. If you remember, in this part it is said that the harvest must be harvested, but that the master or owner of the harvest should be asked to send more harvesters. This means that there is a lot of work to do, and of course, that makes us truly rich.
This can be clearly seen with the hard and arduous work that has been done in the 2024 service year. You may remember it, but in fact we already saw this data, and you only have to remember the following to notice that, in reality, a lot of hard work has been done. Look, in the year 2024 we have these three reports:

As well as those who are working to make this possible—of course, we all understand that it is thanks to Jehovah—there are also the ordinary workers: the regular pioneers, with 1,679,026 publishers who dedicated themselves to being regular pioneers and carrying the message of Jehovah's good news. Also the auxiliary pioneers, who in that year were 867,502, resulting in a number of 8,821,124 publishers.
Without a doubt, all these servants of Jehovah have made possible figures such as the 21 million in the commemoration, the 296,000 new baptized people and, of course, the more than 7 million Bible studies.

LET'S READ PROVERBS 10:4, 5
Idle hands lead to poverty, but hard-working hands bring riches. 5 The son who harvests during the summer is insightful, but the son who sleeps soundly during the harvest is covered with shame.
Therefore, from what we have just seen, something that truly makes us rich is that whoever uses his working hands to help others know about Jehovah really becomes truly rich.
Look what an interesting first point in relation to what is really enriching.
Now let's look at another point in relation to this.
Being fair is much more valuable than being rich in a material sense.
Wise King Solomon may have hinted at danger for both the rich and the poor. You might say: How? Can even the poor be in danger because they are poor?
Look at this situation. In the case of the rich, he may be inclined to place all his trust in wealth, imagining that his valuable possessions are like a protective wall. And in many cases, being rich is not bad. Whoever has material goods, because even if it has cost them or their family members to obtain them, there is nothing wrong with that. The wrong thing to do is to put all your trust in those goods and not put it in Jehovah.
So, effectively, as he says: "imagining that your valuable possessions are like a protective wall." And look, money is needed for many things, but from that to thinking that money can buy everything... The reality is that it can't. There is a point where neither rich nor poor: we are all equal, and that is in the face of death.
Now, what happens to the one who is poor? Well, the poor person may mistakenly think that their poverty condemns them to a hopeless future. That is the problem, not that being poor is bad, just like being rich, but that if the poor think that their situation condemns them, they no longer value themselves.
And that is not correct, because in reality a poor person can have hope for the future. But, sometimes, by his own conscience he feels condemned; then he thinks that it will go badly for him, and if he thinks like that, it will go absolutely badly for him.
So, therefore, no one becomes a good man before God when he has these characteristics; Neither the rich nor the poor achieve a good name before God.
So, who has a good name before God? The just, that is, the one who practices justice. The righteous man is truly rich before God.
Imagine, in the system we are in, where there is a lot of injustice, where people are treated badly and their ignorance is taken advantage of. So, indeed, the righteous is truly rich before God.
LET'S READ PROVERBS 10:15, 16
The wealth of the rich is his fortified city and the poverty of the poor is his ruin. 16 The work of the righteous leads to life, but the fruit of the work of the wicked leads to sin.
Therefore, as the second point of this speech, what truly makes us rich is the following: being fair is much more valuable than being rich in a material sense.
Now let's move on to a third point, which also teaches us about how one can be truly rich.
Having Jehovah's blessing is what makes us truly rich.
The fact that Jehovah blesses, approves, protects, favors, guides and prospers his servants to meet their needs, with the consequent benefit of that person.
For example, a couple has a daughter who, since birth, had a disease related to her ability to walk. Maybe anyone could say that someone in those conditions is not worth much in this system, and that makes the person feel bad. Of course, you would have to be in his place to understand how he feels. However, when you have the right mindset, even Jehovah can protect you to get ahead.
Therefore, something that makes us truly rich is not necessarily having good health. Of course that is excellent, but sometimes a person in good health does not do what Jehovah wants. On the other hand, other people who, by nature, face difficulties can receive Jehovah's blessing, which is what truly enriches.
LET'S READ PROVERBS 10:22
The blessing of Jehovah is what enriches, and with it he brings no pain.
Therefore, having Jehovah's blessing is what makes us truly rich.
