Publisher(s): Amen. [Name], I'm so glad to see how you're progressing in your Bible study. You have a very sincere heart.
Assistant: Thank you, [Name]. I'm learning a lot and I'm enjoying it.
Publisher(s): How wonderful! And look, something that will help you greatly continue growing spiritually and feel even closer to Jehovah is reading the Bible every day. You know? Proverbs 3:1 tells us: “My son, do not forget my teachings, and let your heart obey my commands.” Jehovah invites us to make his word not just something we study, but something we keep in our hearts.
Assistant: Yes, I understand. Sometimes it's a little difficult for me to find the time. Besides, the Bible is so vast.
Publisher(s): I understand, but think about this: Just as we need to eat every day to stay strong physically, we also need to nourish ourselves spiritually with the Bible to strengthen our faith and our relationship with Jehovah.
Assistant: That's true.
Publisher(s): Even reading just a few verses each day can make a big difference. How about we look together for some practical ways to include Bible reading in your daily routine? Perhaps in the morning, before you begin your activities, or perhaps at night, before bed.
Assistant: I might try reading a little before bed.
Publisher(s): Excellent! You'll see how much good it does you. And as you read, [Name], ask yourself: How do these words make me feel? What do they teach me about Jehovah? How can I apply this in my life? Asking these questions will help make your reading more personal and meaningful.
Assistant: I've never thought about it that way.
Publisher(s): Try it and you will see how, little by little, you will feel a deeper love for what you learn. Now, [Name], thinking about all we have studied, do you feel in your heart the desire to help others also know Jehovah's love and his wonderful promises?
Assistant: Yes, it really is. I'd like others to feel the peace I'm beginning to feel.
Publisher(s): That's beautiful, [Name]. And remember, Jehovah values such love for others. Jesus said that love is the hallmark of his disciples. When we do good works and share what we learn, we are imitating Jehovah's love, and it brings great joy to his heart.
Can you imagine how Jehovah feels when he sees your efforts to get to know him and share that knowledge with others? It makes him very happy.
Assistant: I'd never thought about it that way. Knowing that Jehovah is pleased with that is a great encouragement.
Publisher(s): That's right. And by reading the Bible and putting what you learn into practice, you gradually prepare yourself to share these truths with others, naturally and with conviction. When you experience the benefits of God's word in your own life, it's much easier to speak about it enthusiastically in your preaching.
