Make return visits (4 min.) from house to house. The person tells you that they are very happy with their religion and do not intend to change (lmd lesson 8 point 4).

Setting: On a return visit, the publisher speaks with a woman who, although satisfied with her religion, shows interest in biblical topics. They both share encouraging texts about the future God promises. Although the woman appreciates what she has learned, she does not wish to begin a Bible course. The publisher respects her decision and suggests returning another time to continue discussing the Bible.

Publisher: Good morning! It's so nice to see you again. How have you been?

Assistant: Good morning! Well, thank God. I'm sorry for you, and I appreciate your visit, but I want you to know that I'm happy with my religion, so I don't plan on changing.

Publisher: I'm so glad to hear you're satisfied with your faith. Not everyone these days is interested in spiritual matters. Some people don't even believe in God anymore, right?

Assistant: Yes, absolutely. So many people today have no respect for God or the Bible.

Publisher: That's right. And it's sad, because God has wonderful promises for the future, but many are letting them pass without even knowing them. (Take out your Bible.) One of the texts that most encourages me about that future is Revelation 21:4. Would you like us to read it?

Assistant: Of course, I would like to.

Publisher: It says: "And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death will be no more, neither shall there be sorrow nor crying nor pain anymore. The former things have passed away."

Can you imagine that future? Without pain, without tears, not even death. It fills me with hope.

Assistant: Yes, it's beautiful. That text makes me think about how much we need a world like this.

Publisher: Do you have any Bible texts that you really like about God's promises?

Assistant: Yes, I really like Isaiah 35:5. It fills me with emotion.

Publisher: Would you like to read it in my Bible, ma'am?

Assistant: Of course. (Reads) It says: "At that time the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped."

Publisher: How beautiful. Imagine seeing a child who has never heard their own voice finally hear. Or a blind person opening their eyes and seeing their family's faces for the first time.

Assistant: That's why I like that passage so much. I've seen children with those problems, and you'd like to see them healthy.

Publisher: You have a very compassionate heart. And you know, with a Bible study we could explore these beautiful promises in more depth. It's not about changing religions, but about understanding what God says in His Word.

Assistant: I know you offer those courses, but honestly, I can't commit to that right now. I really appreciate it.

Publisher: I understand perfectly. Thank you for your honesty. I'm so grateful for this conversation and for sharing such beautiful texts with you. Would you mind if I spend another day just to continue talking a little more about the Bible?

Assistant: I'd love to. Hardly anyone here talks about these topics, so of course, come anytime.
