Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2025

There will be a way called the Way of Holiness (Is. 35:8).

This path now allows us to worship Jehovah in the spiritual paradise. Furthermore, in the future it will allow us to enjoy the blessings of the Kingdom. Therefore, both the anointed and the “other sheep” must remain in it (John 10:16). Since 1919, millions of men, women, and children have left Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion, and have begun to walk this symbolic path.

What relationship does the “Way of Holiness” have with us?

Some may think, “What happened to the Jews is very interesting. But does it have any relevance to us today?” Of course it does. We too are, in a sense, walking the “Way of Holiness.”

When the Jews returned from Babylon, Jehovah made sure that the obstacles in their path were removed (Isa. 57:14). Did he do the same on the modern-day “Way of Holiness”? Yes. Hundreds of years before 1919, Jehovah began using godly men to clear the way (compare Isaiah 40:3).

So to speak, they performed "works" or spiritual labors along the way so that good-hearted people could later leave Babylon the Great and enter the spiritual paradise, where pure worship had been restored. You are surely one of them. Although this path was opened about 100 years ago, preparations began hundreds of years earlier.

According to Isaiah 57:14, How was the “Way of Holiness” prepared?

In the case of the Jews returning from Babylon, Jehovah made sure that the obstacles in their path were removed. (Read Isaiah 57:14.) Did he do the same for the “Way of Holiness” in modern times? Yes. Hundreds of years before 1919, Jehovah began using godly men to clear the way (compare Isaiah 40:3). They did, so to speak, “works,” or spiritual labors, along the way so that good-hearted people could later leave Babylon the Great and enter the spiritual paradise, where pure worship had been restored. Let’s look at some of the work that was done to prepare the way.
