APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, October 5-11, 2026, Start conversations: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making disciples: a work of love, Lesson 2, point 3). Assignment Prepared.

Start conversations (2 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (lmd lesson 2 point 3).

Setting: During house-to-house witnessing, the publisher speaks with a person who is about to leave and has little time. He briefly shows the person a Bible text containing God’s promise that one day we will be able to live in a world with true peace. Since the neighbor is busy, the publisher respects their time and agrees to return later to continue the conversation.

Publisher: Good morning. We are briefly speaking with the neighbors about a message of hope that the Bible gives.

Assistant: Good morning. Look, the truth is I'm in quite a hurry, but if it's something quick, let me know.

Publisher: Of course, I don't want to delay you. I just wanted to ask you one question: Do you think we will ever be able to live in a world where there is true peace and where people don't have to worry so much about what might happen?

Assistant: That would be nice, but honestly, I think it's unlikely. There are more problems every day.

Publisher: That's true. And that's precisely why I love this promise from the Bible so much. Look at what Psalm 37:11 says: “But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy abundant peace.”

Assistant: What she says is nice, but it's hard to imagine such a world.

Publisher: Yes, especially when we see everything that's going on. But notice this: the Bible doesn't present this as a mere human wish, but as a promise from God. And if God promises it, we can have reason to trust that He will fulfill it.

Assistant: Hopefully we can see it someday.

Publisher: Of course. Since you seem busy, I don't want to take up any more of your time. If you'd like, I can stop by next Saturday and briefly explain why we can trust this promise and what God will do to fulfill it.

Assistant: Yes, Saturday is fine.

Publisher: Perfect. Then I'll see you on Saturday. Thank you so much for giving me these few minutes, and I wish you all the best in your activities.

Assistant: Thank you.

OPTION 2

Setting: During the house-to-house witnessing, the publisher talks to a person tending their garden. Noticing the person's interest in plants, the publisher shows them a Bible promise about the future paradise on earth. Since the person shows interest, they agree to continue the conversation at another time.

Publisher: Good morning. What a beautiful garden! It's clear you dedicate a lot of time to it.

Assistant: Good morning. Thank you very much. Yes, I really enjoy taking care of my plants, even though they are quite a bit of work.

Publisher: You can tell she does it with love. And seeing her plants reminded me of a beautiful promise from the Bible. Did you know that God promises to transform the whole Earth into a beautiful place, like a great garden?

Assistant: Really? That would be wonderful, but seeing the state of the planet today, it seems very difficult.

Publisher: Yes, you are right. Humans have caused a lot of damage to the earth. But the Bible explains that God will not allow destruction to continue forever. Look at this beautiful description in Isaiah 35:1: “The desert and the parched land will be filled with joy, and the desert plain will be happy and blossom like the crocus.”

Assistant: How beautiful! I really like the idea of the whole Earth being able to flourish.

Publisher: Me too. And think about this: you're doing your part by taking care of this little space and making it beautiful. Well, God promises something much greater: that the whole Earth will become a beautiful and pleasant place to live.

Assistant: It would be wonderful to live in a world like that.

Publisher: Absolutely. And there's another interesting question: Who will be able to enjoy that paradise, and what will the conditions be like there? If you're not busy, I could stop by next Saturday and show you the answer directly from the Bible.

Assistant: Yes, Saturday sounds good to me.

Publisher: Perfect. Then I'll see you on Saturday. Enjoy your plants and thank you so much for your time.

Assistant: Thank you. Have a good day.
