Let us examine the Scriptures every day 2026

Friday, October 30, 2026

Be imitators of God as beloved children (Eph. 5:1).

We must strengthen our trust in Jehovah now, meditating on Bible accounts and the experiences of brothers and sisters who have seen his help. Furthermore, we can imitate Jehovah’s qualities and be like a rock to others, providing them with protection, comfort, and spiritual support. In this way, we will help make the congregation a refuge where everyone feels safe and loved.

How can you make Jehovah your Rock right now?

We can make Jehovah our Rock right now by reading Bible accounts and the experiences of brothers and sisters today. As we meditate on them, we will see how Jehovah has always cared for his servants and given them the strength to endure and remain faithful. This will strengthen our confidence that he will also help us overcome the trials we will face in the future.

Why is it good for us to imitate Jehovah's qualities?

It is good for us to imitate Jehovah's qualities because in doing so we can help our brothers and sisters in the congregation and be a source of comfort, protection, and stability for them. In this way, we can all contribute to making the congregation a place where we feel safe and spiritually strengthened.

What can we do to be a refuge?

We can be a refuge by offering practical help, such as providing shelter for brothers and sisters suffering from natural disasters, riots, or wars. We can also offer emotional and spiritual support, warmly welcome them to the Kingdom Hall, and help everyone feel safe, loved, and happy within the congregation.

REFLECTION

Today’s text teaches us that it is not enough to trust in Jehovah as our Rock; we must also strive to be a support to our brothers and sisters. We can do this by showing love, listening to them when they are going through difficulties, and helping them in whatever they need. If we cultivate these qualities now, we will be better prepared to face difficult times and will be a refuge that reflects Jehovah’s love and protection.
