Let us examine the Scriptures every day 2026

I have hope in God, a hope that these men also share, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous (Acts 24:15).

Acts 24:15 reminds us that we have a wonderful hope: the resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Thanks to Christ’s ransom, Jehovah’s faithful servants will be able to enjoy everlasting life. The anointed ones look forward to ruling with Christ in heaven, while the other sheep long to live forever in an earthly Paradise. There we will be able to welcome back our loved ones who have died, learn new things, get to know Jehovah better, and enjoy a life free from sickness, suffering, and death. All of this will be possible because of Jehovah’s great love for us in giving his Son for us.

How will Jehovah's faithful servants benefit from the ransom in the future?

Jehovah’s faithful servants will benefit from the ransom because, through it, they will receive the gift of everlasting life. Although living forever may seem impossible today, Jehovah created humans for that purpose. His giving the life of his own Son shows how much he wants to give us that opportunity again. Therefore, we can have complete confidence that, in the future, we will enjoy endless life, just as Jehovah always intended for us.

What are the anointed and the other sheep eagerly anticipating?

The anointed eagerly anticipate living in heaven and reigning with Christ on earth. On the other hand, the other sheep long to live forever in an earthly Paradise, where there will be no pain, suffering, or death. Both hopes are wonderful gifts from Jehovah and fill us with joy, for he created us to enjoy eternal life and be completely happy.

What are some of the blessings of Paradise that we long for?

In Paradise, we will enjoy many blessings. We will no longer have sickness or suffer death. We will be able to learn anything that interests us, develop our skills, and participate in activities such as building, farming, or creating things. It will also be exciting to welcome the resurrected ones and continue learning about Jehovah and his wonderful creation. But above all, we will be able to worship him with a clean conscience, without committing sins or feeling guilty. All these blessings motivate us to remain faithful to Jehovah, for we know that thanks to the ransom, they will soon become a reality.

REFLECTION

The hope of the resurrection and of living forever in Paradise helps us to keep our eyes on the future and not to be drawn away by the temporary pleasures of this world. It makes us think about how exciting it will be to welcome back those who have died and to enjoy a perfect life, free from the burden of sin. For this reason, any sacrifice we have to make now to remain faithful to Jehovah is worthwhile. Furthermore, we must remember that all these blessings are not just a dream, but a sure promise that will be fulfilled because of Jehovah’s love and the sacrifice of his Son.
