Bible course (5 min.): Fg lesson 5 pars. 1, 2 (th lec. 11).
PUBLISHER: Very good Juan. What did you think of the video?
STUDENT: Very nice Alberto. And what a shame that all that beautiful creation has become so much of what we see today.
PUBLISHER: This is Juan. But as seen in the video, with the father reforming the beautiful house that he had built for his son and giving it to a relative who would value all that ... God will do the same with the Earth and with us.
STUDENT: Will you make it a paradise again?
PUBLISHER: Yes, it will. And he will give it to us as an inheritance to his servants who serve him faithfully. We are going to support these first two paragraphs of this new lesson number 5 "What purpose does God have for the Earth?" with the video we just saw. Do you read the first paragraph? (… Reads it…) thanks for reading. So why did God create the Earth?
STUDENT: To be our home.
PUBLISHER: In the video you saw how the Earth was created from the universe, you even saw other planets and the role of the moon. Before creating everything beautiful on Earth. He had to create this planet specifically with the right conditions and once all this work was done, he created all of nature and what we see. Does this leave any doubt that Earth is the planet where we will live?
STUDENT: No, of course not. Otherwise he wouldn't have gone to so much trouble or work doing this.
PUBLISHER: Notice, and so science says, that it is the only habitable planet. It is the only one with the ideal conditions for humans. With the power of God, wouldn't he have had the ability to create other planets with the same or similar conditions?
STUDENT: Of course I could have.
PUBLISHER: So God's objective is that we live on Earth, not in the sky or on other planets as current science is trying so hard to know and discover. Would you have built that nice house to be empty?
STUDENT: No. If I have tried so hard and put so much hope in building it, it is to enjoy it. Or have a family member of mine do it.
PUBLISHER: Well, God feels the same way giving us the Earth for us, so that we can enjoy it and live in it. Who were the first to do it?
STUDENT: Adam and Eve. Our first parents, but they ruined it. They enjoyed what they had the wrong way. They destroyed the house they had to live in.
PUBLISHER: The garden of Eden was for them and for all of us, their offspring. But they ruined it as you said, and we have inherited a house, a ruined land of corruption, contamination, immorality, evil, pain, disease and death as we saw in the video. However, as ruined as it seems today, God's purpose is still that we live in it, do you want to read it in Psalm 37:29?
STUDENT: "The righteous will inherit the earth and live on it forever."
PUBLISHER: God does not say that we go to another planet or that he will make us a new Earth. But we will live in this forever, who?
STUDENT: The righteous. People who believe in him and do what he wants, right?
PUBLISHER: Exactly, people who live according to his will, to his biblical principles, obey him and approach him knowing the Bible from his Word. Do you think these people are worthy of the house that they built for us?
STUDENT: They will surely take care of her much more than what Adam and Eve did, yes.
PUBLISHER: So what will Jehovah God do?
STUDENT: He will rebuild it for us.
PUBLISHER: Very good, because as the other psalm says, 115: 16. The heavens belong to Jehovah and the earth he gave to the sons of man. Jehovah God from heaven is watching us, absolutely everything, and knows perfectly who really loves him and deserves to live in this future paradise. Can you imagine living in a world like this?
STUDENT: The truth is Alberto is that it is difficult to imagine it, but I would like to.
PUBLISHER: Sure it costs. Today we are used to seeing large buildings, pollution, cars everywhere, etc. etc ... now imagine the following, change these things for big waterfalls, clean air, horses everywhere ... change the black asphalt of the roads for green grass ... What would you do?
STUDENT: Well, I don't know. I guess the first thing I'll do is relax with my family and enjoy… it would be like a dream vacation.
PUBLISHER: More than that, it would be an eternal vacation in a paradise forever where there will be a lot of work to do, do you read the next paragraph? (… Reads it…) thanks for reading.
STUDENT: Yes, there will be work to do. Sure, it will be huge. It will be like starting from scratch.
PUBLISHER: Yes, but a fresh start under the guidance of God, not making the same mistakes as current governments or following in their footsteps, but following in the footsteps of the Kingdom of God.
STUDENT: Sure, if not, it would be ruined again.
PUBLISHER: Look Juan. Next week, since we have finished this lesson 5, we are going to change publications and we will analyze this new one called “Enjoy Life Forever”. This brochure is a great brochure that you can finish reading. But now we will switch to this book. It is designed with very practical audiovisual aids to make the most of all biblical teachings and also groups them in a very easy to understand way.
STUDENT: Ah very well Alberto, he seems to be very well.
