APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: July 12-18, 2021. Revisit Lesson .6 Assignment Prepared

Revisit (3 min.): Use the ideas for discussion (th lec. 6).

PUBLISHER: Good morning, good to meet you at home, how are you?

STUDENT: Well, all right, no news, and you?

PUBLISHER: Thanks anyway, as I mentioned the last time we met, today I come to answer the question about what is the true cause of suffering. Have you thought about that question?

STUDENT: The truth is that yes, since I saw that God is not the cause.

PUBLISHER: It is true, as we saw last week, many think that it is God who causes suffering, but when they see that this is not the case, they are left with those doubts, of why or for whom there is suffering, where can we find the answer to that question?

STUDENT: I believe in the Bible.

PUBLISHER: Perfect, many people have found the answer in this book, and as it answered the question that we analyzed in conversation we had, it also gives the answer to this one, but first I want to ask you a question, Who do you think governs the world?

STUDENT: I believe God.

PUBLISHER: Well, what do you think if we review what 1 John 5:19 says, please read it.

STUDENT: Sure, he says ...

PUBLISHER: Thank you, according to what we just read, Who is the ruler of the world?

STUDENT: It says that the world is under the power of the wicked one. You mean Satan?

PUBLISHER: Exactly, he is the one who rules the world, for example, if a ruler is bad and instead of looking after the welfare of his people he mistreats them and instigates others to violence, how would you say the condition is in that nation ?

STUDENT: Well, it's a terrible condition.

PUBLISHER: So, looking at the current condition of the world, full of violence and evil, who would you say is the ruler, the Devil or God?

STUDENT: Well, the answer would be the Devil.

PUBLISHER: Exactly, so God has nothing to do with the suffering of the world, rather, he cares about us and even gets sad when he sees all that. Would you like to know what God feels when he sees us suffer?

STUDENT: Sure it is.

PUBLISHER: Good, what do you think if I go back another day and like today, we see the answer that the Bible gives

STUDENT: Sounds good to me, I'll be waiting for it.
