APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: September 13-19, 2021. Revisit lesson .16 assignment prepared

Revisit (5 min.): Use the ideas for discussion. Then offer the Enjoy Life brochure and start a Bible course (th lec. 16).

PUBLISHER: Hello Maria, how are you, how good that we have this moment of rest from classes to fulfill our appointment that we had a few days ago and address the question that we left pending, of Can we trust the Bible?

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, Sofía, sometimes being a teacher is a bit tiring, but I like this profession. And of course I wanted to continue the pending conversation. And it is that as I told you the other day so many things are said and seen in churches that make one doubt that what the Bible says is true.

PUBLISHER: I do understand your way of thinking. And we as teachers need to understand things well to explain to children and youth. But with the time that I have read the Bible I have realized that it is such a reliable book and that it not only talks about religion but also serves to give us advice to apply them in our families in dealing with other people and you know that even in scientific matters is always accurate and reliable.

HOUSEWIFE: So, how in what things?

PUBLISHER: Do you remember that when we were in school we were taught so many things that have been proven to be untrue. For example, when they taught us about the Earth in the universe, do you remember that they said that it was what held the Earth so that it does not fall into space?

HOUSEWIFE: Well Sofía, they taught us that the Earth was on a turtle or any other animal and is on something else and something else but that has already been proven that it is not true but that is how they taught us.

PUBLISHER: It's true Mary, but do you know what the Bible said many years ago? you can read it here in Job 26: 7

HOUSEWIFE: Okay, it says ...

PUBLISHER: Mary according to this text, On what did this writer say that the Earth rested?

HOUSEWIFE: About nothing. As we know from photographs that have been made of the planet from space.

PUBLISHER: Exactly, I want to share this brochure whose title is: Enjoy life. Look at lesson 3 and point 4. There is what we talked about and there you have this question: Why is it surprising that the Bible says that the Earth is suspended "above nothingness"?

HOUSEWIFE: Because before it was not known exactly how the Earth was in space, no one had a photo or had gone out into space to affirm it this way.

PUBLISHER: Yes, and according to the calculations this text was written almost 3,500 years ago. Because God conveyed this information to the writer of this text.

HOUSEWIFE: Interesting, that text had never been read or heard.

PUBLISHER: Now think. If the Bible is so accurate even with science and centuries in advance, how many more things will it have for our benefit? Maria, we have to get back to work in a few minutes. Is it okay if we continue to review a little more of the brochure tomorrow? and let's leave another question pending to continue the conversation. Let's see, what questions does the Bible answer? and you will realize that just as it happened to me we will find the answers to everything that we could not even imagine that the Word of God contains.

HOUSEWIFE: Yes, it sounds interesting to me. We'll continue tomorrow. Thanks for the good conversation.
