APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: December 6-12, 2021, Video of the first conversation, Answers.

Video of the first conversation (5 mins.): Analysis with the audience. Play the video First Conversation: The Bible (Ro 15: 4). Pause the video at each pause and ask the questions that appear in it.

How would you use a tract to start this conversation?

The Activity Guide offers us on its cover some ideas to start conversations. For example, tracts can be very useful to start conversations. When using them we can follow these steps: 1) Ask the question that appears on the cover and allow them to choose one of the answers. 2) Show the biblical text that appears at the top of the second page. If the person has time, read and analyze the information contained in the treaty. 3) Give the person the tract and encourage them to finish reading it when they can. 4) Before we go, show him the question that appears under the expression "Ask yourself" and meet to answer it with the Bible another day.

What text would you show the person on the next visit?

The text that could show you would be Psalm 136: 23, because in this text it tells us that Jehovah wants us to feel good about ourselves and supports us when we go through situations that could make us believe that we are worthless.

What text would you have shown the person if he had chosen "teaching", "endurance" or "comfort"?

In his Word, Jehovah has given us detailed explanations of how imperfect humans coped with difficult situations. He has done it so that we can learn from them. That is what the apostle Paul wrote by inspiration in Romans 15: 4. Reading these stories can give us comfort and hope. But for this, just reading the Bible is not enough. We must allow what we read to shape our thinking and reach our hearts. When we need help to know how to deal with a problem, we can follow this method: 1) pray, 2) imagine, 3) meditate and 4) apply.
