The Study Watchtower, “Article 44,” January 3-9, 2022, What Does Jehovah's Loyal Love Mean to Us? Answers.

1. What is Jehovah encouraging us to do?

Jehovah encourages his servants to give loyal love, because he likes us to give loyal love. But first we have to know that it is loyal love.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Through the prophet Micah, our God commands us to love loyal love. Yes, we see that in Micah 6: 8, what does Jehovah expect of you? That you practice justice, that you love loyalty and walk with modesty with your God, the note says that you love.

Jehovah through the prophet Micah encourages us to cultivate loyal love, and we can do this by following Jehovah's example.

Jehovah encourages us to cultivate loyal love as stated in Hosea 6: 6. This causes him great pleasure and nothing else. To have loyal love we first have to know what it is and how to cultivate it, and as Hosea says, we also have to know God.

In Hosea 6: 6 we see that what brings Jehovah pleasure is loyal love and in Micah 6: 8 in the note he encourages us to be kind and loyal in showing love.

2. What is loyal love?

It is a love motivated by loyalty, integrity and commitment. It also refers to the love that God has for us, and the love that we show to each other.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

“It refers to love motivated by commitment, integrity, loyalty, and deep attachment. It is almost always related to the love that God feels for human beings, but it can also refer to the love that one human being shows to another "

The expression "loyal love" refers to love motivated by commitment, integrity, loyalty and deep attachment. It is almost always related to the love that God feels for human beings, but it can also refer to the love that one human being shows to another.

It is love motivated by commitment, integrity, loyalty, and deep attachment. This love is almost always related to Jehovah's love for human beings, but it can also refer to the love that one human being shows to another.

JEHOVAH IS "FULL OF LOYAL LOVE"

3. What did Jehovah say to Moses?

Jehovah told Moses that he was a merciful and compassionate God full of loyal love, who forgives mistakes, offenses and sins "

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

He said: "Jehovah, Jehovah, a merciful and compassionate God, patient and full of loyal love and truth, who shows loyal love to thousands, who forgives mistakes, offenses and sins"

In Exodus 34: 6,7 Jehovah speaks to Moses of his name and his qualities, thus showing him a unique characteristic of his loyal love, since in this way he showed Moses that he was willing to help his servants.

In Exodus 34: 6,7 we see that Jehovah spoke to Moses of his name and his qualities. There he told her that he was a merciful and compassionate God, patient and full of loyal love and truth, who shows loyal love to thousands, who forgives mistakes, offenses and sins.

4, 5. (a) What did Jehovah say about himself?

Jehovah said that he not only had loyal love but he was full of loyal love.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Jehovah not only said that he has loyal love, but that he is "full of loyal love." This descriptive phrase appears seven more times in the Bible.

Jehovah not only said that he has loyal love, but that he is "full of loyal love." And the example of King David does not show them, since in Psalm 36: 5,7 he said that he was motivated to exclaim: “O Jehovah, your loyal love reaches the heavens […]. Oh God, how precious is your loyal love! In the shadow of your wings the sons of men take refuge "

In numerous texts, such as Numbers 14:18 and Nehemiah 9:17, Jehovah said that He is full of loyal love. It is striking to see that Jehovah emphasizes his loyal love so much and this is because it is a very important quality to him and we must value this quality as did King David.

b) What questions are we going to answer?

We will answer just these two questions: To whom does Jehovah show loyal love? And how do Jehovah's acts of loyal love benefit us?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Let's answer these two questions: To whom does Jehovah show loyal love? And how do Jehovah's acts of loyal love benefit us?

We will see: To whom does Jehovah show loyal love? And how do Jehovah's acts of loyal love benefit us?

TO WHOM DOES JEHOVAH SHOW LOYAL LOVE?

6. To whom does Jehovah show loyal love?

Jehovah shows loyal love to those in a special relationship with him. Jehovah will never abandon people who are faithful and loyal to him.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

He shows it to those who have a special relationship with him. Our God is loyal to his friends.

The Bible explains to us that although we can love many things, such as "discipline," "knowledge," "wine and oil," and "wisdom." The loyal love of which Jehovah speaks is never directed to things or concepts; only shown to people. But this does not mean that Jehovah shows loyal love to anyone, he shows it to those who have a special relationship with him. For our God is loyal to his friends and has a wonderful purpose for them and will never abandon them.

The Bible explains that we can love many things but loyal love is never directed to things or concepts, it is only shown to people and Jehovah shows it only to people who have a special relationship with him, that is, to who they really are his friends.

7. How has Jehovah shown love to all human beings in general?

Jehovah showed love to all of us human beings, giving his only begotten Son so that his faithful servants would not be destroyed and could have eternal life.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Jesus said to a man named Nicodemus: "God so loved the world, that is, all mankind that he gave his only begotten Son."

The greatest sample of love can be read in John 3:16, where he tells us that Jehovah gave his only begotten son to rescue us from sin and death and thus in the future we can obtain eternal life. And in Mat. 5: 44,45 shows us that he makes his sun rise on the good and the bad, and sends the rain on the just and the unjust, thus showing us how much he loves humanity. "Support the comment with the illustration."

In John 3:16 we see that Jehovah gave up his only-begotten Son so that all who show faith in him might not be destroyed, but could obtain eternal life.

ILLUSTRATION:

People of different backgrounds and ages. Series of images: Signs of Jehovah's love. 1. Sunlight and rain. 2. Flowers, plants, and trees. 3. The opportunity to benefit from the rescue.

Jehovah gives many good things to all human beings, even those who do not worship him. (See paragraph 7.) *

8, 9. (a) Why does Jehovah show loyal love to his servants?

Because he only shows loyal love to those who know him, love him, fear him and obey his commandments. When we first begin to worship Jehovah, he will also show us loyal love.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

David wrote, "Keep showing your loyal love to those who know you." As we can see, Jehovah shows loyal love to his servants because they know him, fear him, love him, and obey his commandments.

The example of King David and the prophet Daniel. It teaches us that Jehovah shows loyal love to his servants because they know him, fear him, love him, and obey his commandments. This beautiful quality Jehovah reverses for his people, who worship him in the right way.

In Daniel 9: 5 we see that Jehovah shows loyal love to his servants because they know him, fear him, love him, and obey his commandments. Jehovah reserves this quality for those who worship him correctly and as Isaiah 54:10 says his loyal love will not depart from us.

b) What will we analyze now?

We will discuss three ways in which Jehovah's acts of loyal love benefit us.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The writer of a psalm said: "He that is wise will keep these things in mind and will analyze Jehovah's acts of loyal love with interest." In light of this divine counsel, let's discuss three ways in which Jehovah's acts of loyal love benefit us.

Three ways in which Jehovah's acts of loyal love benefit us.

Seeing that Jehovah has such a special affection for us, we must do what Psalm 107: 4 says, analyze with interest Jehovah's acts of loyal love, so now we are going to analyze 3 ways how these acts of loyal love benefit us of Jehovah.

ILLUSTRATION:

Series of images: 1. King David plays the harp and sings. 2. The prophet Daniel reads a scroll.

King David and the prophet Daniel said that Jehovah shows loyal love to those who know him, fear him, love him and obey his commandments. (See paragraphs 8 and 9).

HOW DO JEHOVAH'S ACTS OF LOYAL LOVE BENEFIT US?

10. How does it benefit us to know that God's loyal love lasts forever? (Psalm 31: 7).

It benefits us because it guarantees that God's love for us will not change. It also gives us a lot of joy and strength, which we need to move forward and not let ourselves fall and thus be able to continue serving God.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The phrase "because his loyal love lasts forever" guarantees that God's love for his people does not change.

As we read this Psalm, we are impressed to see that Jehovah consistently shows his loyal love in many ways. The phrase "because his loyal love lasts forever" assures us that God's love for his people does not change. How empowering it is to know that Jehovah is not quick to abandon his servants, but rather stands by those who serve him, especially in difficult times. This gives us the joy and strength we need to face problems and keep walking on the path that leads to life.

Knowing that Jehovah's love for his servants does not change and that he remains by the side of his servants especially in difficult times strengthens us and gives us the joy and strength necessary to face the problems we have and continue walking on the path leading to eternal life

11. According to Psalm 86: 5, what prompts Jehovah to forgive?

Jehovah prompts you to forgive when you see a person who is truly sorry for all his sins and strives to change and not commit them again. This is where Jehovah shows his loyal love and forgives him.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Jehovah sees that someone is sorry for his sins and strives to change, loyal love prompts him to forgive him.

When Jehovah sees that someone is sorry for his sins and strives to change, loyal love prompts him to forgive him. We have the example of David, since from his own experience he knew how bad a person feels when his conscience bothers him. But he also learned that Jehovah is willing to forgive when someone shows true repentance and stressed that his loyal love prompts Jehovah to forgive all who call upon them.

This text shows us that when Jehovah sees that someone is truly sorry for his sins and strives to change, Jehovah's loyal love is what prompts him to forgive him.

12, 13. What will help us if we are overwhelmed with guilt due to mistakes we made in the past?

It will help us in parts to feel bad about what we have committed, since this will help us to regret it and so we can take the necessary steps to avoid making the same mistakes again.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

If we commit a sin, it is good and even healthy that we feel bad, as this can make us repent and take the necessary steps to correct our mistakes.

If we are discouraged by some defect we have, let us remember that Jehovah is willing to forgive those who repent of their sins. Let's look at how David related loyal love and forgiveness. He wrote: “As high as heaven is above the earth, so immense is his loyal love for those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our sins from us. Without a doubt, Jehovah is willing to forgive us and forget what happened, so we must not allow our hearts to condemn us for the mistakes of the past.

Knowing that Jehovah is willing to show us his loyal love and despite our imperfections we can serve Jehovah happily and with a clean conscience since, as 1John 1: 7 says, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and as we see in Isaiah 55: 7 Jehovah is willing to generously forgive us.

14. How did David describe how God's loyal love protects us?

David described the way that God's loyal love protects us, he said that God was like a hiding place, that He would protect us from anguish. He also said that he surrounds us with joyous cries of liberation. Only those who trust and believe in him, only then will he surround us with his loyal love.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

David said to Jehovah: “You are a hiding place for me; you will protect me from anguish. You will surround me with joyous cries of liberation. He added: "The one who trusts in Jehovah is surrounded by his loyal love."

In Psalm 32: 7,10 David said to Jehovah: “You are a hiding place for me; you will protect me from anguish. You will surround me with joyous cries of liberation. He added: "Whoever trusts in Jehovah is surrounded by loyal love." Thus showing us that we depend on Jehovah's protection. This biblical example teaches us how Jehovah protects us just as the walls surrounded a city and protected its inhabitants from enemies. Similarly, Jehovah's acts of loyal love are like a wall that protects us from any spiritual danger.

In Psalm 32:10 he said that those who trust in Jehovah are surrounded by his loyal love. Just as in biblical times the walls that surrounded a city protected its inhabitants from enemies, Jehovah's acts of loyal love are like a wall that protects us from any spiritual danger.

15. How is Jehovah's loyal love like a refuge and a fortress?

They are similar in that the two give us protection, Jehovah gives us protection to his faithful servants, so that we can continue to have this beautiful relationship with him.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Because no matter where we live on earth, as long as we are his servants, Jehovah will give us all the protection we need to maintain our valuable relationship with him.

David used another comparison to explain how God protects his people. He wrote: "God is my safe haven, the God who shows me loyal love." And he also said: "He is my loyal love and my strength, my safe refuge and the one who rescues me, my shield and the one in whom I find shelter." These words emphasize that no matter where on earth we live, as long as we are his servants, Jehovah will give us all the protection we need to discuss our valuable relationship with him.

Because Jehovah provides us with all the help we need at any time in our lives, especially when we are down and down. It is our strong rock, it rescues us by giving us a place to take refuge. If we trust in his loyal love, it will be our strength that will give us protection no matter where we are and refuge.

16. What two blessings do we enjoy? (Psalm 136: 23).

The first blessing is: no matter where we are, we will always have a place where we can take refuge and stay. The second blessing is: Jehovah cares about us and will always care about us, he will not leave us alone.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

First, that no matter where we live we have a safe place to take refuge. And second, that our loving heavenly Father cares very much about us.

Jehovah as Psalm 136: 23 says remembers us when we are sunk. But not only does he remember us, he helps us through two great blessings. The first, Jehovah is our strong rock where we can always find refuge and, the second, he cares a lot about us and will help us to suffer as little as possible in this system.

ILLUSTRATION:

Jehovah blesses those who serve him in a special way. (See paragraphs 10-16). *

WHY GOD'S LOYAL LOVE GIVES US CONFIDENCE

17. What can we trust? (Psalm 33: 18-22)

We can trust that Jehovah will always be with us and will help us when needed, he will also give us his support when we need it.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

We can trust that Jehovah will continue to show us loyal love because, as one psalm writer put it, "Jehovah's eyes are on those who fear him, on those who expect his loyal love."

That when we face trials Jehovah will help us and give us the support we need to be loyal, as he will continue to show us loyal love because, as the writer of a Psalm said, “Jehovah's eyes are on those who fear him, those who hope his loyal love.

Psalm 33: 18-22 reminds us that Jehovah's eyes are on those who fear him and expect his loyal love. If we are always on God's side by doing things his way and showing him our loyal love, we can be sure and trust that he will never abandon us and give us the help and support we need.

18, 19. a) What do we want to remember?

That since we began to adore him, we have also received his loyal love. That love motivates us to take ourselves in his arms to protect ourselves.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

When we begin to worship him, we also receive his loyal love. That love motivates him to take us in his arms to protect us.

In Psalm 46: 1,2,7 we are shown that whatever problem we face, Jehovah will give us the strength we need to be faithful to him.

Jehovah has always shown his love for mankind, with his creation. And by dedicating our lives to him we have seen his loyal love, how he cares for us, protects and cares for us. The same love we cultivate for him, because we always want to be close to our heavenly Father.

b) What will we see in the next article?

In the next article, we will see how we can show loyal love to each other.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

We have already seen how Jehovah shows loyal love to his servants. In turn, he expects us to show loyal love to each other. In the next article, we will see how we can do it.

God wants us to show this same loyal love to our brothers, to each other. How can we do this? We will see this next week.

Knowing that there is a person who loves us so much gives us peace of mind and we feel loved, but not only that, but as we have seen it is our refuge and strength where we feel safe.
