What Matthew 13:33 said is important because it says that we have to remain vigilant, so we have to be attentive to the times we are living in and be spiritually awake always looking for information about the events we are experiencing today.

8. What lesson do we learn from Jesus' words to the Laodicean Christians? (Revelation 3:15-17).

Jesus told them that they were "wretched, to be pitied." Therefore, they should arouse enthusiasm and worship Jehovah . If we are not as passionate as before, we need to appreciate the spiritual abundance that we feel.

They were "lukewarm" or apathetic in their worship of Jehovah. In fact, Jesus told them that they were in a “wretched, pitiful” state. So they had to stir up their enthusiasm for Jehovah and their worship of him.

Of course that's why in verse 18 Jesus advises these Christians and us today to buy refined gold from him to be really rich and that is referring to what we should be rich in excellent works in being busy in the work that he left in charge, also the fact that in that verse it says that white clothes are put on so that he can go dressed, that is, we must identify ourselves as a disciple of Christ and finally he tells them about this ointment so that they could see again, he says that we only receive us both for this study of the Watchtower and for what the slave teaches us in their publications.

12. What do we learn from the messages received by the congregations in Smyrna and Philadelphia? (Revelation 2:10).

Chapter 12 explains that "war broke out in heaven" shortly after the birth of the kingdom of God. Michael glorified Jesus Christ and his armies fought against Satan. Since he could no longer get to heaven, he rebelled against the remaining anointed Christians, who represented the kingdom of God on earth.

Why should we be prepared for persecution?

Jesus told these Christians not to be afraid of persecution, because Jehovah would reward them for their faithfulness. That persecution is something to expect and that we must be prepared to endure it.

But since this message is not liked by everyone, we have to be brave. And during the great tribulation the final message of condemnation will be even harsher.

We need to announce the good news of the kingdom to all the people who want to hear it and also support the angels in announcing a series of calamities and for those who reject the kingdom of God.
