 Teacher: First, let's read Luke 8:1: “Shortly afterward, Jesus began to go around cities and towns proclaiming and declaring the good news of the Kingdom of God.” Jesus toured many cities and towns. Tell me, did Jesus preach only to the crowds who came to hear him?

Student: No, he also looked for people in different places.

Teacher: Correct. Jesus went to great lengths to find people. What effort do you think you had to make to take the message to so many places?

Student: You had to walk long distances and spend a lot of time talking to people.

Teacher: That's right. Now let's read Isaiah 61:1,2 and see how this prophecy was fulfilled in Jesus.

Teacher: According to this text, how did Jesus fulfill this prophecy?

Student: He proclaimed good news to the poor and helped those who were brokenhearted.

Teacher: Exactly. Do you think people today also need to hear this good news?

Student: Yes, many people need hope and comfort.

Teacher: Jesus not only preached, he also taught practical advice. Let's look at some examples from his Sermon on the Mount. Let's read Matthew 6:14,34 and 7:12.

Teacher: What good advice did Jesus give in these verses?

Student: That we forgive others, that we do not worry too much about the future, and that we treat others how we want to be treated.
