Ps 145:15, 16. What do these verses teach us about how we should treat animals? (it-1 142 para. 8).

The Bible says that lower creatures should be treated fairly and mercifully. Jehovah speaks of himself as lovingly providing everything necessary for the life and well-being of these creatures. It would not be right before Jehovah for a “Christian” to beat animals, or keep them outdoors without food or water, enduring cold and heat. Having a pet is a commitment that demands time, responsibility and money; not everyone is suitable for it.

These verses teach me that Jehovah lovingly cares for all living things by providing them with what they need to live. This motivates me to treat animals with justice and compassion, making sure not to mistreat them and to meet their needs, because they too are part of Jehovah's creation.

These verses from Psalm 145:15,16 teach us that Jehovah is a God who cares about the well-being of all living creatures, including animals. By providing food and meeting their needs, Jehovah shows his mercy and care toward them. This teaches us that we must treat animals with respect, mercy and justice, providing them with the care and attention they need. The Bible gives us examples of how we should treat animals, how to care for them, not overload them, and give them rest. This reminds us that we are responsible for caring for God's creation and treating all creatures with respect and compassion.

Jehovah’s way of caring for animals reminds me that we must be responsible with any animals in our care, such as pets or work animals. We must feed them well, give them a clean space, and treat them with dignity, because they depend on us, and Jehovah teaches us to be good caregivers.

Jehovah is fair and balanced in how he cares for his creation. While it gives us the right to use animals for work or food, it also expects us to do so respectfully. This teaches me that we should not be cruel or careless toward them, because it would reflect an attitude opposite to the compassion that Jehovah shows in everything he does.

This strengthens my confidence that He will never abandon us.

Psalm 146:3. Sometimes we can be tempted to depend on people, whether leaders, family or friends, to solve our problems. This encourages me to strengthen my trust in Him and seek His guidance instead of relying solely on human solutions.

Psalm 146:6. When I see how incredible creation is, I realize how powerful and wise Jehovah is. If Jehovah could create everything that exists, he also has the power to help me in any situation, no matter how big it may seem. This gives me confidence and reminds me that nothing is impossible for Him.

Psalm 145:1. This text shows us that when we approach Jehovah with faith and respect, He draws closer to us. Prayer is a way to communicate with Him in a personal and meaningful way. Persecution, illness, and hopelessness can bow us down and make us feel defeated, but Jehovah can lift us up and give us the strength to keep going. He comforts and encourages us when we are going through difficult trials, and helps us find the strength to move forward and speak His word boldly.

Psalm 145:15-16. This shows us the greatness of love towards his creatures. He cares about meeting all our needs, not only those of humans, but also those of animals and all of creation. Jehovah is a God who is responsible for providing food and sustenance at the right time. It is incredible to think about how Jehovah takes care of every detail, from the vegetation that provides us with oxygen and food, to the basic needs of living beings. He is a God who acts at the right time, providing what we need when we need it.

Psalm 145:9. This text shows us that God's goodness and mercy are universal, and he does not judge by appearances, our creator is a just and equitable God, who is not influenced by external appearances.

Psalm 145:10. This text teaches us that loyal servants of Jehovah will praise Him and speak well of Him with other people, since this is a way of showing our gratitude for all the good things He has done for us.

Psalm 145:11. This text teaches us to speak with respect and admiration of the name of God, when something matters to us, we speak about it with enthusiasm. Psalm 144:1. This text teaches us that Jehovah is a safe and reliable rock that we can lean on at all times, the way David describes him as his rock is so beautiful because it reminds us that Jehovah is a safe and stable refuge that we can trust no matter what we are going through. That is why it is very important to express our gratitude and praise to him.

Psalm 144:2. This text teaches us about the protection and refuge we find in Jehovah. David relates Jehovah's loyal love to a refuge and strength because, in his experience, Jehovah has been his protector and defender in times of need. By describing Jehovah as his refuge and strength, David is highlighting the idea that Jehovah is a safe place where we can find protection and security. This teaches us that no matter where we live or what challenges we face, we can be assured that Jehovah will give us the protection we need. Psalm 144:3. Our Christian congregation meetings are a perfect place to express our gratitude and praise Jehovah through music and singing. It doesn't matter if we don't have a perfect voice, what matters is that our heart is full of gratitude and love towards God. By singing to Jehovah, we can express our adoration and gratitude for all He has done for us.

Psalm 144:11. Just as the psalmist is asking Jehovah to free him from the influence and control of those who do not share his principles, we too can ask God to free us from the negative influence of society or those around us who urge us to do bad things.

Psalm 144:12-13. This text teaches us that if we are blessed by Jehovah, we will have a full and satisfying life. The psalmist describes an ideal society where sons grow up strong and healthy, daughters are beautiful, and farms are full of abundance. This reminds us that Jehovah's blessing is the key to a happy and prosperous life.

Psalm 144:15. There is a difference between limited freedom and slavery. Freedom within the limits set by God results in happiness; Slavery to creatures, imperfection, weaknesses or erroneous ideologies results in oppression and unhappiness. True freedom is restricted by law, that of God, and allows man to manifest all his individuality, but in a convenient, constructive and beneficial way, recognizing the rights that others have and contributing to the happiness of all.

Psalm 145:1. Although he was the king appointed by God, David considered that the true king of Israel was Jehovah, so he declared: “Yours is the Kingdom, O Jehovah, who also rises as head over all.” And how David appreciated divine rule! “I will exalt you, O my God, the King, and I will surely bless your name to time indefinite even forever. Psalm 145:1. Let us think of the numerous opportunities that Jehovah's servants have to bless and praise him. We can do this by praying to Him when something we have read in His word, the Bible, touches our hearts. Likewise, we can praise him and express our gratitude when we are moved by the way he treats his people or marvel at some aspect of his fascinating creation. And we also bless you to study its purposes in Christian meetings together with our fellow believers or when talking about it in our conversations.

Psalm 145:3. Psalm 145:3 highlights a powerful reason to praise Jehovah. David sang: “The Lord is great and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.” The greatness of Jehovah is unfathomable, it has no limits. Human beings cannot fully scrutinize, encompass or measure it. However, it will certainly benefit us to examine some examples of it.

Psalm 145:3. Let us now examine Jehovah's greatness in other aspects, those that have to do with Jesus Christ. God manifested it by creating his son and employing him as a “master worker” for countless millennia. The greatness of Jehovah's love was again demonstrated when he gave his only begotten Son as a ransom sacrifice for humanity. And the glorious, immortal spiritual body that Jehovah forged for Jesus by resurrecting him far exceeds what human beings can guess or understand.

Psalm 145:4. Even without seeing God, David had various means to increase his appreciation of Jehovah's dignity. Among other things, he could read the biblical accounts of his powerful deeds, such as the destruction of a godless world through the Great Flood. And it is very likely that he understood the humiliation that the false gods of Egypt suffered when God freed the Israelites from their captivity in that nation. Such events attest to the dignity and greatness of Jehovah.

Psalm 145:4. As we reflect on the mighty works and acts of God, we become even more convinced that “Jehovah will not abandon his people for the sake of his great name.” When we face trials, hardships, and persecution, we can remain calm and trust that “the peace of God” will guard our hearts and mental faculties. Therefore, how appropriate it is that we inform others about our loving heavenly father, who protects us!

Psalm 145:5. Thinking of the extraordinary works that Jehovah performed for the benefit of his people, David sang: “In the glorious splendor of your dignity and in the affairs of your wonderful works I will certainly be intensely interested.” One way to become interested in these works is to study the Bible and spend time meditating on what we read.  What benefits will that bring us? We will better perceive the dignity and splendor of God, which will intensify our desire to honor Him.

Psalm 145:6. Another way David could be impressed by God's dignity was by studying the laws that Jehovah gave to the Israelites. Obedience to divine laws gave dignity to the nation of Israel and separated it from all other peoples. As with David, regularly reading the scriptures, meditating deeply on them, and studying them diligently will deepen our appreciation of Jehovah’s dignity.

Psalm 145:7. In one way or another, we all benefit from Jehovah's goodness every day. So, how about making a point to thank Him every day for a specific display of His kindness? Reflecting on this quality of Jehovah, thanking him for it every day, and talking about it to others will help us imitate our good God. If we follow His example and look for ways to do good things for others, we will grow closer to Him.

Psalm 145:9. Throughout history, the entire world has benefited from Jehovah's goodness. Psalm 145:9 says, “The Lord is good to everyone.” What evidence is there that Jehovah has been good to all human beings? The Bible says: “He did not fail to testify about himself by doing good things. He gave them rain from heaven and abundant crops, gave them enough food and filled their hearts with joy.” Isn't it true that sometimes a tasty meal brightens our day? Well, it is Jehovah who makes it possible for us to enjoy food. How grateful we are!

Psalm 145:13. As the psalmist continued to meditate on Jehovah’s royal rule, he switched from the pronoun “his” to “thy,” thus praying directly to God. Of course, Jehovah's rule represented by the Messianic Kingdom will not replace God's eternal royal rule. In fact, when obedient humanity has been raised to perfection, Christ will hand over the Kingdom to his father. Thus God exercises dominion “throughout all successive generations.” Jehovah was king when he created Adam, and he will rule over righteous humanity forever.

Psalm 144.1. The psalmist recognizes Jehovah as his Trainer and Protector. Just as a soldier needs training for war, we require God's guidance to be effective in our service. Let us trust that Jehovah gives us the spiritual tools necessary to face challenges and to preach with courage.

By proclaiming the Kingdom, we can encourage others to become part of the “people” who serve Jehovah and enjoy that lasting happiness.

Psalm 145:1. Exalting Jehovah involves speaking enthusiastically of His name and His works. This attitude of praise is not limited to personal worship; It is also reflected in how we proclaim the “good news” to our neighbors. If we keep Jehovah first in our lives, we will always have reasons to praise him.

Psalm 145:18. Jehovah does not listen to repetitive or meaningless prayers. What you are looking for is a sincere heart and genuine faith. Psalm 146:2. The psalmist is determined to praise Jehovah continually. For us, that means maintaining an attitude of gratitude no matter the trials. In the work of preaching, we can “sing praises” to God through the message we bring to others and by showing joy in our sacred service.

Psalm 146:5. This text highlights the true source of happiness: the help and hope that Jehovah provides. When we depend on our own strength, We can fail; But if we trust in God, we have the necessary guidance and support. By proclaiming the Kingdom, we can point out to others the security that only the Creator can give.

Psalm 146:8. In addition to the physical healings that occurred in the past, today Jehovah spiritually “opens the eyes” and gives relief to those who carry heavy emotional burdens. In preaching, we explain how biblical truth illuminates the mind and improves people's lives. Thus, those who feel “bent down” by problems can find new strength.

We can help them see that Jehovah not only created all things, but also cares about each of us and wants us to know him.
