Make return visits (2 mins.) INFORMAL PREACHING. Respond to a question the person asked you in the previous conversation (lmd lesson 9 point 5).
Setting: In the previous conversation, which took place during a work break, a colleague asked the publisher a question about what the future will be like. The publisher answers this question based on biblical principles.
Publisher: Hi, [name]. How about we eat together? It's break time, and we can take advantage of the opportunity to chat for a while.
Assistant: Yes, [name], that would be great. Last week I asked you a question about the future and what you think it will be like. Could you answer it now? It's been on my mind, and I'd like your perspective.
Publisher: Yes, [name]. The bad things that are happening and the way people are acting are proof that everything will get better. I would like you to read Psalm 37:29.
Assistant: Of course. Psalm 37:29 says this: "The righteous will inherit the land and live there forever."
Publisher: This promise gives us hope and encourages us to keep going, even in the most difficult times. It's a very encouraging prospect and gives us the strength to keep going.
Assistant: That's very true, because I think that's what I need: hope.
Publisher: Did you know that, through our Bible course, we can give you answers to all your questions? The course is completely free, and I think it will benefit you greatly. It will help you in many ways.
Assistant: I find it interesting.
Publisher: What do you think if we meet next week, on our day off, and start the course?
Assistant: That seems perfect to me.
