APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, September 15-21, 2025, Make Return Visits: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love, Lesson 7, point 4). Prepared Assignment.

Make return visits (5 min.) from house to house. Invite someone who accepted a copy of The Watchtower No. 1 for 2025 to the next special talk (LMD lesson 7, point 4).

Setting: During a return visit, the publisher speaks with a person who expresses concern about wars around the world. They discuss suffering, the Bible's promises of peace, and the hope for a conflict-free future. Finally, the publisher invites her to the upcoming special talk on how God will end wars.

Publisher: Hi [name], nice to see you again. How have you been since we last saw each other?

Assistant: Hi, [name]. Nice to see you too. I've been doing well, thanks.

Publisher: The last time we met, I left you a copy of The Watchtower that covers a very interesting topic: "A World Without War Is Possible." Did you have a chance to read it? What did you think of the information it contained?

Assistant: Yes, I read it. I found it very interesting, honestly. I'm very concerned about the war going on in the world. In fact, I have relatives who have gone to war to fight for something that honestly makes no sense, and that affects me deeply. It makes me wonder if there will ever be peace in the world.

Publisher: I understand. It's normal to feel concerned about the situation, [name]. War is something that affects many people and families. But you know what? The Bible has many promises about peace and the elimination of war.

For example, in Isaiah 2:4, it says, “He will be a judge between the nations and will decide matters for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. The nations will not lift up sword against one another, nor will they learn war anymore.” Doesn’t that sound very hopeful?

Assistant: Yes, that sounds very hopeful, [name]. I'd like to know more about that. How can the Bible possibly have the answer to something as big as war?

Publisher: Of course, [name]. The Bible teaches us that God will use Jesus as King to rule the Earth and eliminate all causes of war. That means that, one day, peace will be a reality throughout the world. Isn't that wonderful?

Assistant: Yes, of course, that's wonderful. Thank you for sharing that with me, [name]. It makes me feel more secure knowing there's real hope for peace in the world.

Publisher: You're welcome, [name]. I'm glad to share that hope with you. And, you know what? I'd like to invite you to a special talk we'll have on Saturday at 5 p.m. The topic is: "Will it be possible to end wars?"

Would you like to attend and listen to it? I think it will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about what God will do to end war and suffering.

Assistant: Yes, of course I'd like to. I think it's a great opportunity to learn more about it.

Publisher: Great, [name]! How about we go to the speech together? That way I can make sure you get there safely.

Assistant: Yes, I think it's a good idea. Thanks for the invitation.

Publisher: Likewise, I'll be back in two days to remind you and to answer any other questions you may have.

Assistant: All right, I'll be waiting for you.

Publisher: What time seems good to you?

Assistant: At this very hour it is perfect.
