Make Disciples (5 mins.) PUBLIC PREACHING. Show the person what our Bible classes are like and make plans for further study (LMD lesson 10, point 3).

Setting: In a previous meeting, the publisher offered to teach someone more about our Bible classes. During this last meeting, the publisher, using a biblical principle, showed them the importance of learning about God's Word.

Publisher: Hi [name], it's nice to see you again. I remember the last time we met, I promised to teach you more about our Bible classes. Are you ready to learn more about the Bible?

Assistant: Yes, I'm very interested. I've been thinking about it a lot. I've actually been looking for answers to some questions, and I think the Bible might have some of the keys I need. I'd like to know more about how it works and how I can apply it in my daily life. I'm excited to learn more about the Bible and get to know God better.

Publisher: Well, our Bible classes can help you better understand the biblical perspective on important issues. The Bible says in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my foot and a light to my path." This means that God's word is like a light that guides us on our path, helping us make wise decisions and live according to His will.

Imagine you're walking in the dark and suddenly someone turns on a light that allows you to see the path ahead. That's what God's Word can do in our lives. We can study the Bible together and explore how it can apply to your daily life.

Assistant: I find this very interesting. I'd like to know more about how we can make the Bible an integral part of our daily lives. How can we make its word a lamp to guide us on our journey?

Publisher: We can study the Bible together. Our classes are free and designed to help you get to know God and His Word better. We can read and discuss Bible passages and answer your questions.

Assistant: I find this very interesting. When can we start?

Publisher: We can start at a time and place that suits you best. What day and time would be best for our classes? Would you like to meet at your workplace, your home, or a public place? I want to make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed during our classes.

Assistant: I'd like to meet at my house. What do you think about meeting on Wednesday afternoons?

Publisher: Sounds perfect to me. What time works best for you?

Assistant: Around 2 p.m.

Publisher: Great. Then we'll meet at your house on Wednesdays at 2 p.m.
